THE FOUNDERS OF CORR

Vincent and Mary Callahan hail from Cleveland, Ohio. They met in 1979 and became high school sweethearts. Vincent enlisted in the US Navy in 1981 and shortly thereafter married his high school sweetheart they’ve been covenanted in marriage for 42 years, they have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. During the latter years of Vincent’s military career, he received and accepted his call into the ministry and was licensed and ordained as a minister of the Gospel in 1995. Vince and Mary have served in various ministry capacities for the past 29 years including lay leadership, praise and worship, and as deacon/deaconess to name a few, but ultimately have found their life calling in marriage and couples ministry.
 

After retirement from the US Navy in 2002, they moved to San Antonio, Texas, and began fellow-shipping with Cornerstone Church under Pastor John Hagee. Within two years, and after attending Hagee’s School of Leadership, they became cell leaders for Cornerstone Church. During their time as cell leaders, they founded INHS (In His Service) ministries, which serve as the parent organization for the Character of Relationship Retreat (CORR).
 

After several years of ministering to couples through various church mechanisms and on a personal level, Vince and Mary decided it was time to take a more individualized and concentrated approach toward couples ministry. As a result of this specific call, the Character of Relationship Retreat “aka” CORR was birthed in 2011, CORR not only serves as the name of the retreat but also as a “pun” to represent the “Core Foundation” upon which the ministry is built. Vince and Mary believe the marriage relationship ( one man and one woman- Genesis 2:21- 24) was designed and ordained by God and He alone is the SOLID foundation upon which any successful relationship must rest. 
 

Vince and Mary continue to serve Pastors, Ministers, and Ministries throughout the greater San Antonio area. They have collaborated with many churches and have served as guest speakers, spiritual advisors, mentors, and prayer warriors. They continue to focus on the growth of families, young adults, and couples in the image of God.

Vince and Mary currently serve under the leadership of Pastor Dr. Terrell Jackson & First Lady Dr. Tena Jackson - Faith Based Institute Church - San Antonio, Texas - Vincent was ordained an Elder of the Gospel of Jesus Christ on July 18th, 2021 at Faith-Based Institute Church by the Presiding Official Pastor Dr. Stanley Ferrell.
